Carolann, we were so disappointed when we heard you were no longer with Red Molly, but we wish you all the best and hope to catch up with you again soon. Being close to your family is certainly the best choice. God Bless and keep the music coming!

We were so happy to hear you at the Huntington Folk Festival last weekend. You and your husband gave wonderful performances. (Only wish the tents had been placed further apart, but we already discussed that with Mike Kornfield.) After your show, my husband and I walked around the lake singing "Summertime!" It was so appropriate...such a beautiful, bit bittersweet day! Carolann, your talents will be missed sooooooo much with Red Molly! But we are wishing you the best that life has to offer for your future! As I told you before, you and the girls gave us 5 magical years of music....thank you for that pleasure!
Now on to the next step in life....enjoy your family and your music. We will be looking forward to hearing you and Mark in the future!
Take care, Mary

Carolann,
I heard you perfrorm last year in Wolfeboro. I loved Red Molly and have followed all of you online. I am sure it is tough to leave the band especially since you were getting so much notice. (for good reason) I applaud you for giving up the dream to be there for your husband and son. I think in the long run, you will be so glad you did. I am a singer/songwriter also. I wish you all the best. Cindi

Sorry you are leaving "Molly" BUT, you will do great. Your stage presence, strong, melodic voice and musical talent should take you far. I look forward to seeing you work and someday perhaps we can jam together. Hug the baby, love the husband and make it big. you are a winner.

So sad to learn you are leaving Red Molly. But I know that travel schedule is tough, even on a woman without your family responsibilities. I've seen just about every one of your shows in the DC area over the last 4 years. You told me about 1952 Black Vincent at Jammin Java a few months ago. Best wishes for your future - musical and otherwise. I hope to make it to some of your solo shows.

Wow! We heard about your impending departure from Red Molly and were quite surprised. However, we wish you all the best on your new solo career -- also the best to your family. Sorry we'll miss you at the NJ Botanical Gardens concert when Red Molly performs in Aug. Hope to see you perform in the near future. Have a great summer.

We love you, Carolann, and are just so sad you are leaving (really?) Red Molly. You are the strongest instrumentalist of the three, and have a stunningly beautiful voice. We always were frustrated that you didn't get to sing more often. (Dan and Molly just saw RM in Piermont!) That said, I hope this is a great change for you---an amazingly gifted entertainer Still, we are so, so sad about this switcheroo. Change is indeed hard.
We loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you.

Sorry to hear of your departure, but totally understand it given your domestic life mattering (which it should). Best of luck with your new adventures! You are terrific, as is the band itself. You have created a legacy of which you can be very proud.

Carolann: I'm so happy that you will now be able to spend more of your time and energy divided between family and music. What can be more important than the love of both. I've seen four of your live performances. We will miss your talented voice when you leave Red Molly in July and look forward to seeing you at one of your last gigs in Lake George
on the 22nd. I know you will be sucessful as a solo, but somehow I don't think some of the fans of RM realize how much you added to " the sound ". Simply put, you will really be missed. I've listened to some of Molly Venter's songs and she can't meet your quality. Not a knock on Molly but a huge smooch for you. We'll miss you big time. May god grace you, your family, and career. XXOO. Jim

Tony, you are exactly right. I play a Martin D-15, and have for the last seven years or so. I love it. I now run it through a FIshman Aura pre-amp onstage, and it reproduces the sound of the guitar more faithfully than anything else I've tried.
Thanks to you and everyone for the good wishes. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had with Red Molly, but looking forward to opening new musical doors in the future.

Just discovered you and am taken in by your voice. I love the alto woman's voice and yours is so beautifully crystal clear. It makes me want to sit down with a cup of tea in a comfortable chair 'just' to listen to music. Not to multi-task, but to just listen. Please sing more leads in Red Molly. It adds a depth to the music that is so real and lovely.

Saw you for a second time in Rochester (Penfield, a suburb of Rochester) . Loved the performance and especially enjoyed watching you play guitar. I have always liked to watch people play guitar. Your voice is very pleasant too, I wish your singing was featured more in your show. Anyway, why is your new CD named James? I don't remember if you mentioned it during your show. Is it named after me? I spoke to you for a moment at the end of the show. You signed the CD for me. I'm the guy that said that you run very fast. Probably 50 people said that to you. I think I may have been the last person to get their CD signed that night. I wish you great success with your career. You play great and have a lovely voice, and you're very pretty too.

Hello Carolann. Thanks for sending your emails and letting me know how you are doing. If you ever get to the Lancaster area, please let me know. Gloria and I would love to see you. We are so glad that you are still active in Music. Gloria is now working in Harrisburg at the State System of HIgher Education and works out of the office of t he Chancellor.

Great seeing you at the Sellersville Theater last weekend and hearing you perform "Michael" for the first time. Now I get to listen to it often on your new CD. Love it. Shades of Joan Baez; shadows of July Collins; but uniquely Carolann.

Hey Carolann!
Thanks so much for taking time to chat with me today in Piermont. The performance was great!
I listened to "Glass of Desire" on the way home, and enjoyed it very much. "Papa's Mandolin" is unquestionably my favorite! The cover photo is awesome as well! You looked beautiful today. Sweet Thoughts and Blessings to you and your family :)
